Vynil wall papers. Silk-screen decoration
Silk-screen decoration is the variant of vynil wall-papers simulating silk cloth. They also consist of two layers: paper basis and upper decorative protective layer made of pure vynil or vynil with silk threads. Upper layer can be both raised or smooth.
Peculiarities of silk-screen decoration. Vynil papering (silk-screen decoration)
Structural vynil wall-papers differ in their upper PVC layer which gains additional expressive pattern (foamed vynil) after special thermal treatment.
This type of wall-papers due to its pattern surface hides roughness of walls, and allows simulation of decoration with pattern plasters. But (if compared to wall papers made of hard vynil) this coating has low wear resistance and washing resistance.
Group of vynil wall-papers also include foamed vynil wall-papers for painting.
We have already described in details technology of using similar coatings when we told about wall-papers for painting, and there are no more differents between them . At the present time wall-papers for painting become more and more popular.
In their production the basis is made not of paper, but of vlies (bonded fabric) on which the pattern made of foamed vynil is laid. As well as other vlies wallpapers, they are glued dry on the glued wall, which sufficiently simplifies work with such surfaces , and can bear up to 5-6 cycles of painting. By wear resistance vlies wallpapers are inferior to vlies wallpapers for painting, but provides more variants for ornamental decoration of walls.
